Fire Prevention Week

This week is fire prevention week. The Fire departments are asking all home owners or renters to check their smoke detectors. It is a good idea to check them on a regular basis and replace any 9 volt batteries twice a year. The Fire Commissioner's office is also urging residents to devise a home escape plan and practice it.
